  • Describe the clinical manifestations of herpes zoster
  • Evaluate the efficacy and limitations of current pharmacotherapies for the management of herpes zoster and PHN
  • Recognize the relationship between aging and increasing incidence and severity of herpes zoster and PHN
  • Evaluate the efficacy and benefit for reducing the incidence and severity of both herpes zoster and PHN through vaccination
  • Assess the public health burden of herpes zoster and PHN in older adults
